Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 19, 2026
At Tudlo Editor, your privacy and data security are our highest priority. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, how it is managed, stored, and protected in compliance with the **Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173)**.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to supply you with reliable services:
- Account Details: When you register an account, we collect your email address, username, and system-generated authentication tokens.
- Subscription Data: To active your product keys, we register activation codes tied to your email profile.
- Local App Data (Offline): Any customized lesson packages, templates, and student performance scores created in Tudlo Editor are stored locally inside your browser's secure IndexedDB database.
2. How We Use & Sync Data
Your registered email and account credentials are strictly used to authenticate and allow you access to online/offline workspace sessions.
When online, the app utilizes secure Firebase Firestore Snapshot Synchronization to encrypt and back up your local IndexedDB workspace database to a cloud snapshot. This guarantees that your presentations, games, and metrics are securely synced to your cloud account, letting you access your work from any browser or device.
3. Student Data Safety
We take student safety extremely seriously. Tudlo Editor compiles local student response logs and score stats created during games and quizzes.
- Student data is kept confidential and is never shared, distributed, or sold.
- No student accounts are required to participate in quizzes; responses are linked using anonymous identifiers inside your workspace.
- Educators have complete control over student reports and can wipe or delete IndexedDB data files at any point.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or school data to advertising agencies or outside third parties. We strictly utilize Firebase (by Google) for cloud synchronization, hosting, and secure authentication under rigorous global security protocols.
5. User Rights (RA 10173)
In accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you hold the right to:
- Request access to check your registered profile snapshot.
- Request correction or updates to your registered information.
- Request complete permanent deletion of your Firebase snapshot database files.
To execute any of these rights, please click "Contact Support" to message our data officer instantly.
